Larissa de Macedo Machado (born March 30, 1993), known professionally as Anitta, is a Brazilian singer, songwritter, dancer, actress, businesswoman, and TV presenter[1][2]. In January 2013, she signed a recording contract with Warner Music Brazil[3] and released her self titled debut album in July of the same year. On June 3, 2014, Anitta released her successful sophomore studio album Ritmo Perfeito and debut live album Meu Lugar[7][8]. Her third studio album Bang! From 2016 to 2018, Anitta collaborated with numerous artists, including Nile Rogers, Maluma, Iggy Azalea, Major Lazer, Alesso and J Balvin. Her single with Balvin ("Downtown") proved to be a breakthrough hit in several Spanish-speaking countries. In 2019, Anitta collaborated with artists such as Madonna, Sofía Reyes, Rita Ora, Luis Fonsi, Ozuna and Black Eyed Peas. That year she also released the visual album, Kisses (2019), which earned her critical acclaim and a nomination for the Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Music Album. In 2021 Anitta collaborated with Sam i, BIA, and Jarina de Marco on the song "Suéltate", which was featured in Sing 2.
