Calatonia

Calatonia is a city/state that is the setting of the film Sing and its sequel, Sing 2. According to interviews in the bonus features for the home release of Sing, the location's style was intended to be a mixture of Miami, Florida and parts of California.

It is the home to most of the main characters, and notably the Moon Theater.

After his show, Alice In Wonderland, is rejected by talent scout Suki Lane, Buster Moon and his troupe leave Calatonia and take a bus ride to Redshore City to audition for media mogul and Suki's boss, Jimmy Crystal.

According to a shirt worn by Buster Moon at one point, Calatonia has its own university.
According to concept artist Guillaume Fesquet, Calatonia was known as "Bellcity" at some point in production.^[1]
The location has a similar name to a location in the real world, Catalonia, a region of Spain which is the nation of the Catalan people and they speak the Catalan language and the capital is Barcelona, the second largest city in Spain.
