Plot Angie, a nurse, promises her daughter she'll be home in time for their whole family to watch the Moon Theater Christmas Special, a live, televised musical performance featuring the main characters of Sing 2. On her way home, her car runs out of gas and she doesn't realize she accidentally left her phone at the hospital. Looking for help, she braves a blizzard and inadvertantly stumbles into the studio where everyone is preparing for the Christmas Special. She realizes she accidentally slammed the door on Darius and, upon tending to his head injuries, deems him unfit to be in the performance, which starts in just thirty seconds. Buster Moon then asks Angie if she can sing. Back at home, Angie's daughter is crestfallen upon realizing she didn't come home in time to watch the special, but her brothers exclaim that they see her. She turns to see the television and is ecstatic to see her mom in the special, singing "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" with the cast. One of the pictures is an unreleased poster of Alfonso. Clay Calloway and Porsha are the only main characters from Sing 2 who are not a part of the show.
