Crazy Town (sometimes abbreviated as CXT) is an American rap rock band founded in 1995 by Epic Mazur and Shifty Shellshock. The band is best known for their song "Butterfly", which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 when released as a single in 2000. "Butterfly" also helped Crazy Town's debut album, The Gift of Game (1999), sell over 1.5 million units; prior to the single's release, only The 100,000 copies of The Gift of Game were bought. Crazy Town's sophomore album, Darkhorse (2002), failed to acheive the same level of success, leading to the band's dissolution in 2003. Mazur and Shifty reformed Crazy Town in 2007. In 2015, the band released its third album, The Brimstone Sluggers. In 2017, Mazur departed Crazy Town, and Shifty renamed the band to Crazy Town X. Read more here...
