Crystal Entertainment is a skyscraper owned by Jimmy Crystal. It is a major setting in the 2021 film Sing 2 built in Redshore City. It is where Buster Moon and his troupe sneak into and audition for Jimmy Crystal. HistoryWhen Buster Moon and his troupe arrive at the Crystal Entertainment building in Redshore City hoping to audition for Jimmy Crystal, Karen, the receptionist refuses to let them see him because they have not scheduled an appointment with him. She then asks them to leave, but later fails to recognize them as they sneak past her while disguised as janitors. The troupe ride an elevator to the 187th floor, where the auditions are being held. While looking for new talent, Jimmy watches as various acts audition for him, but he rejects each one. Then, he meets Buster and his friends, who start their audition, but are rejected. However, Gunter claims that they can get retired rock star Clay Calloway to perform in Jimmy's show. Approving the idea, Jimmy orders them to get things put up within three weeks. Before leaving in his helicopter, he tells Buster not to make him look bad or he'll throw Moon off the roof. After the first day of rehearsal, Buster is called to Jimmy office, where he tells him that his guys spoke to Calloway’s lawyer and say that he's never heard of Buster or his show. He then angrily threatens Buster, telling him that no one makes a fool of him and that if it wasn't for his daughter being in his show, he would throw him out of the window by now. He warns Buster to have Calloway by the end of the week or face his wrath. Buster promises to fix things, and leaves to go get Calloway. However, later on in the movie after noticing Buster had "fired" his daughter, he calls him into his office and tries to throw Buster off his building, but instead, he has him locked up in a closet in his office when a TV interview with Linda Le Bon becomes more of a priority, stating he will finish the job of killing him later. Buster is freed soon after by Suki Lane, who urges him and his friends to leave town, before Jimmy and his thugs come after them. Buster heeds this advice and leaves promptly. Backstage on the set of "Hot News", Jimmy tells his assistant, Jerry, to go fetch his snacks from his office, which he does, but then notices the closet door is open, causing him to shriek in fear of his boss' reaction. He delivers Jimmy his snacks and quietly informs him of Buster's escape. Jimmy is angry, but keeps his anger in check as he makes his appearance on the talk show. He also sends his security guards to track Buster down and hunt his friends as well. After he finishes his interview, he calls his guards and asks if they have found them. They inform him that the troupe escaped the hotel. As Jimmy enters his office, he angrily throws his phone to the floor. Trivia
