Performance descriptionAs the stage and lighting are quickly prepared, a group of dachshunds in green leotards are directed to the stage. The curtains rise, and lead performer Nana Noodleman makes her way to the stage before singing "Golden Slumbers". She climbs a giant boulder prop as the aforementioned dachshunds gaze at her from below. Role in SingIn the opening scene of the film, the outside signage of the theater is on display, and 6-year old Buster Moon and his father watch the play from the balcony. Buster, amazed by the performance, gets in front of the railing to get a better view. It was at that very moment that his dreams of becoming the first koala bear in space were left behind, and his passion for theater officially began. In the events following this play, Buster's father opens a car washing business and eventually earns enough money to buy his son the very theater Epiphany was performed in, renaming it the Moon Theater.
