Garth Jennings (born 1972) is a British film director, screenwriter, producer, actor, and voice actor. In 1993, Jennings co-founded the production company Hammer & Tongs with Dominic Leung and Nick Goldsmith. While primarily responsible for producing music videos[1][2][3], Hammer & Tongs also produced Jenning's first two features, the 2005 adaptation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and the 2007 comedy Son of Rambow[2]. Hammer & Tongs would disband in 2012, and Jennings would go on to write and direct the 2016 animated film Sing, its 2021 sequel Sing 2, and Come Home, a TV-spot advertising the latter movie.
In addition to writing and directing the Sing films, Jennings is also the voice of Miss Crawly, and co-wrote the song "I Don't Wanna" with Dave Bassett.
