The unnamed hippo is one of many animals who auditioned to be in Buster Moon's singing competition in Sing. AppearanceThe hippo has gray skin and blue eyes. His muzzle is covered in short whiskers and he wears small, round glasses. His outfit consists of a blue T-shirt and light tan jeans, along with brown shoes and a pair of round glasses. BiographySingIn an interview with Bob while waiting in line to audition, the hippo claims that he's a lab technician in a leading pharmaceutical company, before happily stating that he was born with the gift to sing. The scene then shifts to him auditioning on the Moon Theater stage, performing "Stout-Hearted Men" with a keyboard piano. When the auditions come to a close and he is rejected from the competition, he sadly walks out of the theater, mistakes Eddie for a contestant and informs him that the finalists have already been chosen.
