Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll (born September 11, 1991), known professionally by his stage name Kygo (ˈkỳːɡuː), is a Norwegian record producer and DJ. He achieved international success with his December 2013 remix of the Ed Sheeran song "I See Fire"[3]. Kygo since released several more singles, such as "ID" and its vocal version "Here for You". By late 2015, he became the fastest artist on Spotify to reach 1 billion streams, and by 2016 Kygo reached 2 billion streams[4].

On May 13, 2016, Kygo released his debut album Cloud Nine[5], which spawned many successful singles including "Firestone", "Stole the Show", and "Stay". In 2017 he released his debut EP Stargazing, which featured the hit single "It Ain't Me". Kygo's third album, Golden Hour (2020), included a remix of Whitney Houston's cover of the Steve Winwood song "Higher Love" which was an international hit and appeared in Sing 2.
