Ruby is the late wife of Clay Calloway in Sing 2. AppearanceRuby is a lioness with predominately tan fur, though her muzzle and chest are white. Her eyes are brown. BiographySing 2After having a loving relationship with her husband, Clay Calloway, Ruby's death devastated him, as he subsequently became a recluse and gave up music for the fifteen years following. According to Clay, she inspired all of his songs. Through the help of Ash, Clay agrees to participate in Out of This World. When it's time for Clay's number, he is hesitant to perform, until Ash and the audience sing along to "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". Ruby then appears next to Clay, (most likely in his imagination), silently encouraging him to go out on stage. Clay and Ash perform their duet, as Clay has finally moved on from his grieving and chooses to remember his wife fondly, which reignites his love of music. Trivia
