The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are an American indie rock band founded in New York City in 2000. The group consists of vocalist and pianist Karen O, guitarist and keyboardist Nick Zinner, and drummer Brian Chase[3]. In live performances, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs were accompanied by touring member Imaad Wasif until 2009, when he was replaced by guitarist David Pajo. According to the band, their name comes from NYC vernacular[4].

In 2003, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs released their debut album Fever to Tell. They released their sophomore album, Show Your Bones, in 2006. Their third studio album, It's Blitz!, was released in March 2009 and spawned the singles "Zero", "Heads Will Roll", and "Skeletons". All three albums received Best Alternative Music Album Grammy nominations. In 2013, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs released their fourth and final album to date, Mosquito.
